JANUARY 2018
Running a gym was a huge thing. Literally a huge thing. I got to spend less time with my husband, as well as him with our daughter. But somehow we believe it was for a greater good. His uncle helped out so much with the opening and we were grateful people are very supportive. I had a Singapore trip with Skylar while I was only 4 months pregnant. It was very challenging yet fun. Sky was very kind and cheerful, it was really a baby moon worth remembered!
FEBRUARY 2018
Pregnancy is getting funnier and funner. I'm helping Nash with building Luxuvere team and interviewed some interesting people. Campus was also fun as I got to teach one last time before I had my maternity leave. Guess what? I had International Relations major as my Communication Persuasion subject. Whew.. they were unbelievable!
MARCH 2018
Luxuvere was getting closer to having the dream team. It's fun to help a friend working with cool project. I also enjoyed working as an advisor for my students thesis, sstt.... I had amazing students as my advisees, they were all smart and very clever in building their thesis.
APRIL 2018
Midterm at LSPR means crazy time for me. as I was also teaching Indonesian State Philosophy for international class, it's a double thing when it came to marking their papers. I cannot be more excited about having another baby on the way. I'm just amazed that my baby was so cooperative, warm and calming.
MAY 2018
It's Skylar's 2nd birthday!! We only celebrated at home and bought cake with candles to mark her new age. Glad we could spend time as a family more knowing that a new addition is about to come!
JUNE 2018
Welcome to the world, Rivero Karim Alhakim. It's a blessing to have a baby boy on Ramadhan month, then we moved forward to having our first Eid as a family of four. Truly a blessing. I think it was the moment of my life where everything seemed so beautiful. My first advisees went through their thesis defense very well and I was very proud although I couldn't be there with them! But I always knew they could do it!
JULY 2018
Yay I'm back to working again although it's only been a month since my leave. Well what can I say, some jobs cannot be done without me. But I really enjoyed having a supportive family and amazing kids. I had my baby blues but not as much as when I had Sky. I think it was pretty much because of how much Eqi has grown and protected his family wiser. Many more students were having their defense and I was so thrilled to see more people graduating!
AUGUST 2018
Really, working in many jobs in part time base was not easy at all. I thought it would give me more flexibility, and yes. But then I had to juggle with my own pace and responsibility. August was the moment where I got many job offers and projects that got me confused and happy at the same time. Almost a month teaching English matriculation at IPMI was fantastic. I got to see many new faces and different characteristics of Business students.
SEPTEMBER 2018
I accepted the offer of teaching Business Communication at IPMI, starting September to January 2019. I think it was quite an interesting offer as I got to be able to commit 2 days a week for 2 campus, plus in and out at Luxuvere office. I got it fine. I turned 30 and I felt loved by my main lovers.
I went to Kampung on first week of September, carrying Karim and taking a maid with her daughter to fly with us. Twas a fun trip, tiring but fun.
OCTOBER 2018
2 challenging weeks in East Java; I became a trainer for a management training programme. I swear it was the hardest and the most tiring 2 weeks of all this year! But it's all worth it! The first week I was with Eqi and Karim (he breastfed exclusively) and the second week I was with my mum, Sky, maid and Karim. YES TWO ROOMS! Truly a priceless experience and I cannot wait to have this kind of job again! LOL.
NOVEMBER 2018
YES prayer was answered! I got another training job! One day but totally worth it!
So I had this drama with my former helper at home. Horrible one; she was caught lying repetitiously after this new maid came to our family. Basically she was just jealous with the new maid, and she started so many dramas. I just ignored her now, she's completely ridiculous. November was also blissful, I got to work in a project with BSSN. As a researcher, but quite cool thing to work at.
DECEMBER 2018
Went to Malang by train with the whole family for a family event.. It was a horrible trip by train but amazing stay during in Malang. We got to spend quality time and Sky was so content with the bonding time with her Dad. As usual, year-end means poverty to me lol, but I don't worry much, this too shall pass.
I AM SO CURIOUS ABOUT WHAT 2019 HAS FOR ME.
