"Okay, that's it. You see every detail about her and we are so willing to stop her"

Derrick menutup layar presentasinya tentang Charlie, public enemy di kampus saya. Derrick benar-benar jenius, mempersiapkan semuanya dengan sempurna. Saya pikir ini cuma tugas akhir semester, tentang 'handling crisis' dan seperti biasa, Derrick muncul dengan ide jeniusnya: personal crisis.

"I got it. She's annoying, arrogant, selfish and... impolite. What's your idea to stop her?" Saya penasaran dengan ide penyelesaiannya.

"We'd ban her from social life. Kidnapping, internet propaganda, magazine, word-of-mouth"

"Wow. What? Those all only gonna make her even more famous" saya terbelalak mendengar idenya yg 'cetek'

"Are you siding on her? Do you know that we have to do something about this?"

"I am not a close friend to her, I don't think I'll be able to be so. But looking at what you're planning...man, this is....bullying. And that's not cool. It against.. I mean...we could be sued by any law." Saya mengingatkannya lagi pada buku panduan mahasiswa dan peraturan kenegaraan di lingkup kampus kami.

"What's your idea then?"

"Look, we're studying at the most popular politics, communication and business school. We have these lecturers, theories and strategies to solve many cases and crisis. Don't you think we should accommodate our hates into something more efficient and satisfying?" saya coba bicara dengan hati-hati.

"Straightly, what are you trying to say?" Saya yakin ia hanya ingin diyakinkan mengenai keyakinan saya.

"We have computer geniuses, brilliant writers, fantastic math-geeks and you! You are the top problem solver in many clubs. We do need a tactical move about this person. Do it smoothly"

"Smooth? To this kind of bitch?"

"Come on, I know you've been trying to tell her. But if you really wanna punch her, do it in a smart and effective way. We gotta win, not being stamped in campus wall for a cheap bullying action"

"What's your plan?"

"That's what we're up to. I'm thinking about making a campaign to change her attitude, but first, we gotta find out 3 things" saya mengangkat ketiga jari kiri saya sambil menatap matanya.

"They are?" Bagus, Derrick mulai tertarik.

"First, the motives. Second, the supporting media. Third, the timeline and schedule of the execution"

"I'll help you out about the second one: we have everything you need for IT support, meaning internet, publication, even a DNA test could be done by us here."

"I'm thinking of the third one: next semester, meaning 3 more months, will be the open days for freshmen. That is the moment we could allocate her and her intelligence as our promotion to prospective student. We have 3 months to change her." Kami diam sebentar karena cukup puas 2 dari 3 pertanyaan kami terjawab. 

Saya hanya diam menunggu Derrick menyadari satu hal lagi dan bertanya pada saya, "What about the first one? I don't have any idea. She has no best friend, she has never been opened to anyone about her psychological background"

"That is our job. We gotta find a way to get closer to her so we can dig up." Saya menjentikkan jari dan menunjuk layar laptopnya yang masih terbuka.

"You're gonna send someone to do it?" Saya mengambil pensil, secarik kertas dan mulai akan menulis draft pertanyaan dan investigasi. "Yep, it is between you.....or...." Derrick diam menunggu hingga saya membuka mulut dan berkata "me"

"You are nuts! What if your plan doesn't work?" Derrick tersentak dan tertawa miris.

"What if it works?" Saya mengulur waktu untuk pertanyaan skeptis, pesismis namun realistisnya.

"No, think of my question first, what if it doesn't work?"

"We'll figure it out later, we gotta think and prevent that, actually. Because at least, we don't get caught for such criminal action you told me in the very first place" saya mengedipkan mata dan mulai menggambar skema kerja saya.
